Draught in Carlsbad. Near black with a creamy beige head. Full of chocolate, roasted malts, earth. The chocolate is on the bittersweet scale and not the oppressively sweet scale. Full bodied. Lightly dry finish that rounds out with a bit of sweet roasted malt. Good brew.

On tap in Pizza Port, Carlsbad on 27th May 2015. Dark bodied brew with full tan coloured top. Malty all the way with a coffee and chocolate aroma, the taste more dark chocolate than coffee. Smooth but not silky or rich in body feel, decent enough without setting the world alight.
