Embrace the Funk: Hail-Fellow Well-Met

Hail Fellow Met over the phone in the spring of 2012. An "Embrace the Funk" Q&A brought us together. Hail Fellow Well Met in November of 2015 in Nashville, where we brewed together and began an organic journey that is now captured in the bottle. A dark strong base ale brewed with Ohio harvested spicebush berries then fermented with a blend of our house sour cultures. After aging in Chattanooga Whiskey Co barrels and conditioning on blackberries and currants, the beer finished at 10.1%. Hail Fellow Met is a beer born from friendship, admiration and collaboration.
