The abundance of strawberries and raspberries married with wheat in each batch of Lovebird results in a light yet flavorful brew. The fruit adds a tartness and berry aroma (as well as a slightly pink color) while the wheat gives it velvety base.

Medium gold pour. Nice lace with thin foam. Taste is mainly sweet raspberry with hint of peach and hops. Palate is dry hops with hint of sweet fruit.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. A little smoke and wort in the nose. Light strawberry and raspberry purée on the palate....kinda watery though. Not really a fan, but it was drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lovebird on 28 Jul 2017 at 22:57 - Score: 6. Original review text: A little smoke and wort in the nose. Tap @ Father Tom’s Pub, Cookeville, Tennessee. Cloudy pale amber-yellow with a thin head. It’s a wheat ale with a good fruitiness in both aroma and taste, although perhaps not as stated as you might expect from the recipe.

Sweet but not too sweet but not not too sweet. Strawberry and raspberry are dominant, tart but not overbearing until the finish. Yeasty wheat notes seem lax, but the fruit gets a bit Kool-Aid-ish towards the back. Eh.
