@BNA. Amber, nice haze and thin head. Bitter, herbal, a little bit toasty. Not bad, definitely some chewy rye. Good brew.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, peach, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, spicy rye, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and dark/rye/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, orange, peach, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, spicy rye, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy bitterness; and peppery rye spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, orange, peach, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, spicy rye, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and dark/rye/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and spicy rye balance; with minimal hop/rye astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and rye spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, creamy/bready, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a nice rye IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and dark/rye/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very dank/earthy hops, with a balanced malt backbone, and mild residual sweetness. Not sure on age here, I can tell it's at least over 6 months old though. Likely Columbus, Chinook, and Centennial hops. A nicely enjoyable offering, well made style example, and classic hop profile.

On tap at Tennessee Brew Works, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma reveals notes of earthy rye, some butter, and light hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of earthy notes, some light butter and biscuity malt. Flawed and needs work.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has rye and citrus with some earthy grains and flora backing. Flavor has a combination of biscuit and rye with sweet citrus backing.
