Johann Buys a Broat is a Double India Pale Ale that is fermented on our house yeast which produces peach and mango esters. Johann is solely hopped with Citra and fermented on Pineapple & Mandarin Orange. This beer has a huge creamy mouthfeel due to the oats and Madagascar vanilla beans, which round out the beer and give it a Pineapple & Orange creamsicle feel.

16oz can pours a nearly opaque gold with some lacing, white head. Nose has fresh orange, melon, vanilla, sherbet. Flavor is OK, a bit muddled, some stone fruits, tropical fruits, melon, vanilla. Finishes a touch tannic too, creamy, bitter. Dunno, this one feels a little off to me.

Can thanks to Brandon. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong tropical fruit, pine, resin. Medium body, juicy, pineapple, mango, orange peel, light bitterness, hides alcohol well, very good.

Can. Thanks Jon! Pours a hazy gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that lingers. Big pineapple and mango aromas. Citrus with some tropical hop aromas. Juicy on the palate, low bitterness. Good flavor and pretty drinkable. Kinda sweet as it warms though.

16oz can thanks to Torrey. Pours out a hazy orange juice mess topped with a white head. Nose is nice orange citrus hops and some nice sweetness. Taste is more of the nice orange juice citrus hops and a thick rich mouth file.

Thanks Matt for sharing the bottle. Poured into a taster showing unfiltered dark orange peel with light foam. The nose shows dank cannabis and light papaya. The palate medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Flavors of grapefruit, orange, and papaya with a light grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Lightly sweet malt mixes well with the tropical fruit flavors. Very drinkable.
