Bottle. Medium brown in color with a slightly off-white, two finger head. Aroma is well balanced with sweet undertones. Taste is also well balanced with suprising little pecan taste.

3 month old bottle A: Clear light amber with a thick but quick tan head, leaving a thick ring. S: Toasted bread, caramel and faint herbs. T: Kind of fruity with a cherry or berry note upfront, then dry herbal and nutty flavors. Pecan is there but subtle. More hops than expected. M: Light body, prickly carbonation and clean, dry finish. O: Nice subtle flavors and a good balance. Better than expected but I wouldn't call it a brown ale..

12oz bottle. Medium bodied. Not super nutty. Classic brown ale more or less. Easy drinking, mile faded nut tone. OK.
