Pecan Ale is made with real Louisiana roasted pecans for a subtle, nutty flavor and aroma. It’s brewed with pale, Munich, biscuit and caramel malts, and Willamette hops. The roasted pecans are added in the brewhouse. Crack one open and geaux nuts!

Mediocre beer. The pecan flavor tastes more like the “pith” than the meat. Thin body, moderate carbonation. Slightly astringent on the finish.

[12oz bottle from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A copper coloured pour with a dense white head; the aroma seems to be honey rather than pecans; but the nuts certainly come through in the mouth with a backbone of caramel malts; and a biscuity finish with a gentle hoppy bitterness. Enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 10/18/19. Apparently different from the Pecan Harvest. Mmkay. Clear dark copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted nuts and caramel. Taste is cherry, nuts, caramel, mild roast. Thin. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a clear bronze copper with a tight beige head and great retention. Good lacing. Caramel aroma. Very sweet caramel malt flavor. I'm not getting any nutty flavor. Medium body with a short finish. More of a Vienna lager or Oktoberfest than a brown ale. No bitterness. Tasty.

Copper color with tan foam. Roasted malt and nut aroma. Flavor similar to an Octoberfest with a roasted sweet malt taste with a hint of wood, not much hop bitterness.

Sampled from a growler. Pours a clear copper color with a small beige head. Light nutty aromas with some light cardboard notes. Sweet on the palate with a light, watery mouthfeel. Sweet with a toasty malt finish.
