A full-bodied, decadently smooth coffee beer in collaboration with local roaster Darkwoods.

7 different malts combine with 3 different coffees added at 2 different points during the brew to create a sweet toffee, rich fruit and chocolate depth, accented with notes of vanilla, and hazelnut.

Brewed with coffee, cocoa nibs and vanilla, this beer is designed with texture, aroma and deliciousness in mind. Brewed to celebrate locality and a shared philosophy in creative quality.

Tap at KEG. Nose is huge espresso kick, some earthy and chocolate notes. Taste is the same with a faint fruity touch. Light bodied with soft carbo, super easy to drink. Great one, extremely flavourful for the ABV.

Can at home. Aroma is strong creamy coffee, mocha, roasted malt, hazelnut, with a touch of vanilla and dark chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium, a bit creamy. Great balance and drinkability, massive coffee aroma, very very good.

Can from Beer52 that was locked down at work for sometime. The vanilla leads the way into roasty coffee. Darkest brown. Creamy beige head soon develops a 50% bald spot. Sour berries and coffee. Vanilla smoothness. Underlying bitterness, more obviously into the finish. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat-soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Fine. A bit too sweet and sour for my tastes to want glug it down.

Can swapped with friend. Has a good strong coffee aroma. Pour a very dark brown with a small transient beige head. Coffee again dominates the mouthfeel, with dark fruits, liquorice and hints of ginger. Fairly highly carbonated to start with, but calms down later. Finish is sweet milky coffee . Very drinkable !
