A full-bodied, decadently smooth coffee beer in collaboration with local roaster Darkwoods.

7 different malts combine with 3 different coffees added at 2 different points during the brew to create a sweet toffee, rich fruit and chocolate depth, accented with notes of vanilla, and hazelnut.

Brewed with coffee, cocoa nibs and vanilla, this beer is designed with texture, aroma and deliciousness in mind. Brewed to celebrate locality and a shared philosophy in creative quality.

330ml can. Black with a beige frothy head where you can hear the fizz. Leaves some retention but no lacing. Aroma of roasted almost burnt coffee beans and vanilla but not getting the chocolate note. The dark chocolate does come through in the taste however, but the prominent flavour is roasted coffee beans but there is a freshness to it which is very pleasant. The mouthfeel is superb with a low but tingly carbonation and full body. I'm not a coffee person but I found this surprisingly moorish although I do have a sweet tooth and this is more of the sweet side although there is an underlying bitterness. Excellent.

A deep dark porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, bitter chocolate with coffee, herbal hops, pleasant. In mouth, bitter chocolate with herbal hops, light acidity from coffee, OK. Can from Keep6 imports.
