750ml bottle pours a murky brown, right head. Nose has malt and fall fruits. Flavor has malt and Quince and baking spice. Walnut is muted. Medium bodied. Its fine... 7 6 6 6 6

Bottle at the DC Beer August Share. Poured a pale golden body. Flavor was lightly fruity with grainy malt and a touch of sweetness.

Pour at State of Origin 2018. Finally my first sahti and it doesn't disappoint. Pours a clearish copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Pine needles, juniper, mint, and bright berry dominate the nose. Some light oak and bark notes on the palate with more wild berry notes. Pours a cloudy brown with an ecru head. Aroma of caramel. Flavors of cinnamon and juniper. Flavors are slightly sweet caramel. Interesting combination of flavors but I was taken by it.
