DIPA with Vermont Maple Syrup, sugar burned and caramelized stove top, and a touch of cinnamon. Notes of dough and pancake batter round out the finish. Excellent for cooler nights ahead!

Reviewed from notes and once again thought - how necessary is this to put on here, hmmmm....alright, screw it - let's do this.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: orange haziness; one finger white foamy head which dissipated fairly nice and left some light lace.
Aroma: strong maple syrup up front, some doughy/pancake-like tones, caramel tones, vanilla extract and some light grassy hops underneath
Flavor: overly sweet through the prior noted aromas and does not allow any of the hops to engage for any sort of balance; sweet doughy/maple syrupy aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, seems to be coming across as a sipper; cloying on the tongue; finishes cloying too with way too much maple syrup
Overall: well, I guess some people like these overly sweet beers that Decadent seems to have fun with as for me, this would be a hard pass to have this again.

Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a good-sized two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, pure maple, tons of fruit-based sugars with some lactose as well in the nose with a large pungent and almost astringent or medicinal scent at the end from the higher alcohol content and perhaps the malts? Full-bodied; Super rich and cough-syurp-like flavour at first with a lot of astringency, bunches of thick body with maple and pure sugar flavours along with a lightly resinous and grassy finish showing a relatively good balance throughout, despite the malt-heavy notes at first. Aftertaste shows the maple, a lot of sweetness and then balance or counter-acted with a lot of malt and even hints of oatmeal with a pungent sweetness from fruits and the syrup near the very end. Overall, a pretty nice Imperial IPA that shows a bit more maple than expected, but some funky flavours that generally don't hit the mark, but still make this a decent enough beer throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Hy-Vee in Omaha (Papillion), Nebraska on 06-November-2018 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 22-December-2018.

Can. A- Maple, mild citrus. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Maple syrup, citrus, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- I've had a number of maple based stouts where the maple only adds booze and little flavor. Oddly enough, the beer that finally showcases a nice maple flavor comes from an IPA. Unfortunately, it really comes across as a novelty. The maple just really doesn't work with the bitterness in the beer. A can was too much. Decent attempt but this combination should not happen. Sure, it tastes like French Toast good enough but that citrus bitterness kills that nice flavor. Wanted to love it but barely even like it.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a murky orange color with a medium sized creamy yellow-white head that left very good lacing. The aroma was sweet cinnamon sugar, vanilla and maple syrup. The flavor was very sweet with maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon sugar and faint fruity hops. Medium length finish. Full bodied and smooth. Alcohol well controlled.

16 oz. can. Date canned on 3/12/18. Purchased at The Beer Store and tap room, Philadelphia. Aroma is a mild maple on top of bread. Nice bready hint. The flavor is really well done. Mild maple, just a tad of cinnamon, and a subtle hop bitterness to cut the sweetness. Low bitterness cuts the sweetness. Subtle and well done. Better than some ratings suggest.

Can thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head. The aroma is strong maple, spice, dough. Thin body, maple, cinnamon, dough, light dry finish, very good.

Can shared. Thanks Chris! Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Maple syrup and cinnamon forward nose. Lots of toasted maple, cinnamon and nutmeg on the palate. Not as sweet as I’d thought. Dry finish with kitkat wafer like malt. Pretty enjoyable and spices are well-balanced without being overly sweet. Not sure I could drink a pint though.
