Sample from MJ, much appreciated! Almost black with faint head. Loads of coffee, roast, slight oak, quite a bit of liquorice. Fairly deep roast. Nice one!

Aromas are roast, dark malt with a little coffee and molasses. Not sure if there is oak or bourbon in there. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, moderately sweet with good bitter and carbonation to balance. Alcohol is very well hidden. Good beer but not great.

Medium body, creamy, a bit sweet, boozy. Plenty of medium roast coffee, vanilla, some chocolate, some dark berries in the finish. Fairly smooth but might benefit from some time in a barrel. 🤔 Very nice. Oddly there's licorice when it's cold but not warm.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of caramel macchiato.
The palate shows lightly carbonated and light bodied. Caramel forward with a light coffee bitterness on the finish.

Oct/06/2021. Very dark brown, unstable brown head. Smell is rich, earthy and a tad sweet coffee, some bourbon. Body is fairly light, but nicely soft, and quite a bit boozy. Taste is rich, deep, with loads of delicious coffee. Soft bourbon finishes it.

Can from Tavour. Pours a la Guinness - dark brn/blk with a huge cream/foamy dark tan head. Aroma is bourbon/coffee/chocolate. Full bodied plus. Flavor is lots of sweet toasted malt with bourbon/coffee/chocolate. Far from dry. Bitterness from heat. Wow. Deth is THE WORD!
