473ml can. Hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, mango, orange, guava, pineapple. Taste is the same, juicy tropical fruits, ripe mango and guava, pineapple, grapefruit, assertive pithy bitterness, slight alcohol/hop burn. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.

Bitter, which is good, but also boozy and somewhat astringent, which isn't. Lemon, grapefruit, and melon transition into a resinous dankness on the back end with alternating currents of pine and alcohol. Subtle honey sweetness lines the hops, but the rough edges grow more apparent as the pint warms. Wonderful Citra-El Dorado nose, though, and, again, I dig the bitterness. Just a touch on the harsh side, overall.

Draft at the source and cans from Craft Brewed. Pours a thick, hazy gold with with a quickly dissipating finger of white foam. Very pungent white grapefruit nose with lemon zest aromas. Smooth and juice-like body on the palate. Would like a bit more carbonation in the can though. Lots of white grapefruit pith and bitterness on the palate. A little more bitter than most Bearded Iris but it works well. Lingering grapefruit pith.
