From tap. Pours hazy brown to amber. Small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty. Bitter. Dry and slight fruity. Mild herbal. Hoppy. Dry and oily hops finish.

“Don't be bitter Oscar“, vom Faß im Vagabund, Berlin. - Dunkles Kastanienbraun. - Antrunk schön kremig-füllig und dezent dunkel- aber vor allem toastmalzig mit feiner englischer Hopfenbittere. Mild rezent, angenehm mineralisch, sehr süffig. Langer, nicht allzu bitterer aber intensiv fruchtig-herber Abgang mit intensivem trockenen Kakao und Johannisbeere. - Etwas untypisches (nicht besonders bitteres) aber sehr angenehmes, weiches ESB.

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 25 Aug 2017) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, toffee and red fruit. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, a touch of chocolate, red fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

On tap at Muted Horn Berlin. Comes with a hazy, brown color an a nice white head. Nice nose of a cereals, hay, dust, slightly roasted malts. Tase is less interesting. Nuts, malts, something sweet. Light finish.

Vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-08 getrunken. Was für fette Getreidenoten in der Nase wie man eh von manchen Barley Winen kennt. Nach diesen vollen Aroma in der Nase wirkt der Gaumen dann fast langweilig. Doch man bekommt ein schönes, süffiges Bitter leider ohne leichte Frucht. Ein spannendes Bier mit einer überraschenden Aroma-Achterbahnfahrt.

Draught. Deep brown with a solid head. Aromaof nutty malt. Flavour tastes more of a mild than a bitter. Smooth malt, nut, light caramel, sweet finish.
