Special 5: Knuppel

Knuppel is a slick and nifty schwarzbier, firy by nature but secretly easy going. A beer that appears to be heavy, but turns out to be surprisingly light. A spicy aroma with tones of black fruits is followed by a sip of refreshingly dry and balanced beer and ends in a warming aftertaste by the black pepper. A gift that keeps on giving!

Knots & Knuppel are two Specials in light of our 25th anniversary and odes to our loyal 'wild men'. They are shown in the flag and coat of arms of Bergen op Zoom, our birthplace. These wild men are still our flag bearers and main characters on all our labels.
