Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Hebden Bridge. Reddish brown with a thin head. Rich and smoothish, its vanilla is notable in both aroma and taste, usurping most of its dark and roasted character.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour start with dark malts and dark chocolate. Later the vanilla comes through but not over the top.

Bottle, 4.5%. Good spicy aroma, roasted and with some vanilla. Almost black colour, seems clear. OK stable frothy light brown head. The flavour has some vanilla, OK spicy. Watery finish, but good.

500 ml bottle, from Meny Løren. ABV is 4.5%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Nice roasty aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, hints of orange peel and liquorice, moderate hops.

500ml bottle, thanks to Finn for sharing. Decent fawn-coloured head over a near-black body. Croched lacing. Earthy malts aroma, slightly smoked. Roasted malty flavours backed by ash and moments of dark fruits. Roasted malty ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. (Session with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 14.11.2018).

Flaske fra Kilpishalli. Delt med djoeye og Rune på Nerstranda. Svart. Høyt skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Forsiktig sjokoladearoma. Smaken tynn. Hint av sjokolade.
