Bottle (BBE October 16) at Naiv, Frankfurt, 30th September 16. Pours a darker Amber, aroma is malt, caramel, slight citrus. Taste is malt, some bitterness, good depth of flavour, needs more hops, nice better when fresher, I expect.

Tap sampler tray at the Brewpub Hackescher Markt. Glowing copper-amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is mango, resinous, caramel, toasted malts, some earthy-herbal hop characteristics. Taste is more mango, resinous, nice residual sweetness, bittersweet finish. Oily mouthfeel. Very nice, this one at last stands out in the sampler tray where no beer was bad, but also none was particularly memorable.

Bottled. Slightly hazy orangeish golden colour with a rather big foamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some caramel, mild spicy and herbal notes along with some mango, citrus as well as some woodne and resiny notes. Flavour is nicely fruity and floral with some spruce, mild spicy/herbal notes as well as some sweetish malts to go with it. Wellbalanced and quite tasty. Refreshing.

(Draught at Brauhaus Lemke Hackescher Markt, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, treacle-toffee and grapefruit. Malty, fruity taste with grapefruit, pine needles, mango, caramel and a generous resiny, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain caramel sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA. Nice one.

On tap at Lemke, Berlin. A bit hazy dark golden with a fairly large head. Fresh and hoppy with pineapple, citrus and caramel. Also malt and hints of resin. Balanced and with a rather bitter finish. A pleasant one.
