Cusqueña Dorada is the most appreciated beer in Peru. Its exquisite flavor and intense golden color are obtained due to a special production process with triple filtering. The distinctive flavor and aroma are achieved using 100% selected barley malt in combination with the finest aromatic hops. The dedication with which it is made is reflected in its perfectly wrought bottle and a label inspired by the mysticism of Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world.

Dorada, limpia, espuma blanca de retención media. Aroma ténue a 'lager industrial'. Ligera en boca, muy bebible, refrescante.

Bottle from a friend. Golden, mid sized white head. Sweet malty nose. Grainy sticky sweet malt with rather harsh woody-dusty hops.

Bottle (Dank am See!): Clear, golden, small but stable white creamy head, mild sweetish-bitter aroma of grains and delicate grassy hops; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied, but also a bit sticky; short sweetish malty finish, hardly balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Boring, but not really bad...

33 cl bottle from Bottle King in Princeton, NJ. Bottle shape resembles the old Michelob bottles from the 1990’s. Pours amber gold with nearly no head. Aroma is malty with a touch of sweetness and pizza crust (really). Flavor is tangy, sweet malt. Earthy and grainy, with a modicum of flavor. A (small) step of above most South American lagers. Brief malty finish. Of all the beers I’ve tasted from Peru (3), this one is the best, so far.
