Dresden Neustadt: Du willst schweben statt torkeln?

Liebe? Nein. Alkohol.

Small, just off-white head over finely carbonated golden beer. Some cabbage, sulphur, leather and dry grains, faintly plastic. Sweetish, again grainy, some sweetish malts; slight acidity txs to good carbonation. Finish is dry, bitterish metallic. Light body, almost not slick. No real aftertaste but for the mentionned finish. Not really a joy.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Grainy, malty. Taste: Equal grainy, malty, hoppy backbone. Light to moderate sweet, light bitterness going towards moderate at the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Ok Pilsener.

Bottle from HIT near the register, drunk while barbecuing chicken. Light gold, slight haze, small head. Aroma is a bit lemony, unusual. Flavor is a bit sweetish for a pils, almost like a bit of lemon juice Radler hint. Decent bitterness level. Alright but doesn't really remind me of pils, more a cascade hopped IPL.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a small, white head. Nose quite yeasty, more yeasty than malty. Medium body, solid maltiness, odd minty herbal or spicy note that seems a little out of place. Good hoppy finish. 300920

Bottle. Pale blonde. Hay and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Hay and grass in the soft hopbitter flavor. Bready and citric notes. Long grassy hopbitter finish. Decent.
