Disappointment. One dimensional acetic sourness, medium levels. Vague maltiness. Hints of citrus. No other fermentation character outside the sourness. I never loved Golden Monkey in the first place, so I guess I ought not be surprised that souring it doesn't do much for it.

On tap @ Royal Gourmetburger, Bergen. Pours hazy yellow, with a short lived creamy head. Aroma is lactic acid, with fruit peel, peaches, hay, farmyard and grapes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart, lactic acid, with fruity notes of peaches and farmyard, as well as grapes and white wine barrels. Lingering lactic finish.
