Tap. Clear deep golden color with white head. Aroma is phenolic, a bit boozy. Taste is slightly estery, jammy, a bit sweet grains as well. Silky mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation. Untypical for a Tripel, not my thing.

Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden amber with a white to tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, honey, some vanilla and clove. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy taste of caramel, honey, vanilla and cloves, followed by a short, moderately bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay.

Draft at De Hemel. Near clear orange with a white head. Aroma of light fruits, herbs, malt and yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. Comes across a little sickly.

Darkish orange colour. Has typical Tripel taste but is very sweet. Too sweet in fact. Lacks balance.

Draft sample @ Oersoep Bierfest 2015, Nijmegen. Léger orangé tirant sur l’ambré, col blanc-cassé. Arôme au bouquet levure ester assez belge, pointe de malt cara pâle qui reste plu en avant et assez plaisant. Palais de levure procurant cette signature type de triple. Retrouve un profil malté prononcé mais mettant en avant de belles notes caramel et ponctué par des houblons nobles qui confèrent un fini finement amer, fleuri.

Sampled draft @ Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2015. Dark amber, solid head. Nose is odd, herbal, cooked vegetables mixed with very big sweetness, malts. Taste is odd mix of vegetable, very sweet, herbal, big caramel, brown sugar,… Thick malts. Didn’t feel entirely right. Not sure about this one. Heavy sweetness, makes it a bit more palatable. Odd for sure.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy golden, lively coarse head. Fruity nose with some pineapple. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Sugar, baking powder, pineapple jam. Low bitterness.

50cl bottle @PBF X. Amber color, thick white head, bubbly and huge. Perfumy, floral and spicy yeasty aroma. Flavor has sweetness, citrus, spices. Long sweetish finish, spicy. High carbonation. Some apricots as well.

Bottle, thanks to John (jmgreenuk), split at Colin and the Vikings tasting, Nol, Goteborg, Sweden 22/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is apple skin, spice, herbal notes, bitter fruit, sprucey wod, citrics. Taste comprises orchard fruit, spice, dark fruits, bitter orange, Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. So so, lacks any real depth, a touch wishy washy!
