RB DE #500: 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Light cornish and malty aroma. Flavour is sweet cornish with light acidity. Ends light spiced and medium sweet. Light growing bitterness.

500ml bottle at Battersea BF 08. Gold with thin off white head. Bready malt, some hop, not a great aroma. Syrupy malty lager, but it’s a pretty good lager. Not hugely great, but not terrible either. A little metallic. Some decent hop though.

Bottled. An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malthy with light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, and a quite sparkling mouthfeel, which is a bit thick at the same time, leading to a hoppy bitter end.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, thin but stable foamy layer; bisquits, dough and a tinge of honey in the nose; quite sweetish flavour; a little hoppiness and some touches of alcohol in the short sweet-malty finish. Yes, nothing special.......

Malzig - süßlicher Geruch, passt zum Weihnachtsbier. Der Antrunk ist ansprechend malzig, im Mittelteil hpfig, es dürfte aber ruhig ein wenig würziger sein. Im Nachgeschmack wiederum ansprechend malzig, jedoch ist dieser ziemlich schnell verschwunden. Test vom 8.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,11,13,10,9,11 - 10,85
