330ml bottle from Prisma Kannelmäki, Helsinki
Pours dark brown with a smooth white head. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of nutty notes, tartness and ripe fruity notes. Taste is stingy, slightly roasty and nutty with hints of tart ripe fruitness and hops. Finish is smooth, hoppy and slightly metallic with hints of grassy notes. A bit strange, but not bad.

Deep ruby color, big creamy beige head. Caramelly, a bit berryish and hoppy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, strawberries, woody hoppyness in the finish. Lingering bitterness, weaker in malts. Reasonably clean hoppy amber ale.

A very dark reddish brown beer with a dense, medium, creamy and beige head. The nose is strongly citrusfruity with fresh pine forest, also interestingly liquirice and even roastiness. The fresh and succesfully aroma. Taste is smoothly bittery, citrusfruits, pine needles, fruits, also some liquirice. The piney bitterness changes slightly herbal in the long end. Almost medium bodied, smooth carbonation, enjoyable. Interesting beer, enough of bitterness wrapped into unique and nuanced package.

Smell of malt and spices. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of ash, roasted malt, candy. Very bitter.

Tap @ olutexpo. Copper color, white head. Citrusy, hoppy, light berry notes. Hoppy, grapefruity, toffeeish notes. Nice.

(Re-rate, can, 0.5 l,20170305) Nice balance of hops and malts. Aftertaste was out of balance and palate bit watery. Other flavours: biscuits and caramel.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, green apples, wort and bitterness. Aftertaste had green apples, malts and bitterness. A beer the fermenation of which hadn’t finished. Old rating: 4-3-5-3-8=2-3

Draught @ Olutexpo 2013 Aroma has vegetables, nettles and gooseberry bush leaves. Flavour has vegetables, gooseberry bush leaves, some herbal notes and hints of minerals. Harsh and bitter finish. Not good. 6-3-5-3-10 = 2.7 33 cl bottle @ home Better, but the vegetables are present here too. 6-3-5-3-13 = 3.0 50 cl can @ Pilveä & Kaljaa. Batch #2333, BBE 11.12.2019. Rated on 10.4.2019. Aroma has malty tones and resin. Flavour has resiny malt, fruity hops, grapefruit and mild mineral notes. Also some bready malt. Now we're talking! 7-3-8-3-15 = 3.6
