Schwarz wie die Nacht, feiner Schaum. In der Nase Schokolade und Kaffee. Im Trunk schön röstig, Schoko, bittersüß, cremig, sehr lecker, schmeckt fast als hätte das Bier eine Crema.

6 month old can A: Ruby tinted brown black with 1/4 head that held up well. S: Smooth coffee with caramel, chocolate and a hint of molasses. T: A little roasty compared to the nose. Bitter coffee and light caramel sweetness. A touch of earthy or herbal hops. M: Low but prickly carbonation. Light, slick texture and clean finish. O: Pretty nice light bodied porter. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Pour is more of a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a little coffee, a little roasted malt and some sugar. Flavor is some ashy roasted malt a little bitter coffee and again a bit of sugar. Pretty thin all around but going in the right direction just needs a bit more of the coffee to show up.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, bottled on December 6, 2018, poured into a glass. Black with small beige head. Aroma is rich roasted malt, medium body, creamy medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is rich roasted malt and coffee.

Pours pitch black, topped with pretty sizeable and lasting beige head. Medium malty nose, mildly roasty, some chocolate and a bit nutty. Mildly bitter with some moderate chocolatey sweetnes. Shorter aftertaste. Moderately full and very silky. Nice one.
