Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown to black. Aroma of coffee beans, a bit "green". Roasty flavor full of coffee beans. Medium-bodied.

It pours a dark brown and leaves a small tan foamy half inch white head in my nonic. Some light lacing is left trickling down the sides of the glass. The smell has the coffee forward, and hops come forth more so as the beer warms. The taste is bitter because of the coffee and hops, but some malts are noted in the taste. The palate is about a medium with some light harshness on the tongue. It has a dry bitter finish. Overall, this is just a standard American Porter, nothing to get excited about.

Bottle. Pours clear deep brown with a small tan head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is coffee and cigarettes. Flavor is about the same plus done grass and roasted malts. Light sweet, light coffee bitter, certainly better than the aroma implied. Medium body, some creamy ness.

Yea, a little roasty on the flavor. Nice looking beer, very dark like a schwartz and such. A darker like able beer with a hit of bitter coffee. Fairly friendly for a beer over 5%. Wonder why I never had this before. Probably thot i tasted it so I passed it by. Finish is a tad medicinal but not in a negativbe way. OK overall. Surprizingly good co2.
