0.5 l bottle from 11-line, Potsdam. Shared with little Dina. Cloudy amber to brown, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, some coffee. Sweet caramel flavour, malty. Soft carbonation, soft creamy texture, light sweet finish. A bit thin overall.

Braumanufaktur Dunkel, 4,4 %, Flasche von Bio Company, Berlin-Lichterfelde. - Dunkelgoldbraun, fast klar; sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase warm nussig-karamelsüßes, nur leise dunkles Malz mit Aprikosenkonfitüre und mild-aromatischer herbaler Hopfung, ein Hauch von mediterranen Kräutern. - Antrunk fein nussig-karamelmalzig und nur dezent dunkelmalzig. Schöne Bonbonsüße, Anklänge an reife Aprikose und kandierte Orange. Gut rezent, schlank. Im Abgang mild herbale und fein orangensüße Hopfung. - Fand ich dieses Bier von 10 Jahren noch etwas zu lasch, so muß ich jetzt die feine, ja elegante Aromatik loben. Mild ja aber keineswegs fade. 500 ml bottle. Pours with a clear, dark amber color and a large off-white head. Taste is grainy, sweet, brown sugar. Taste is rather more malty with some caramel hints. Light bodied.

Bottle swing top sourced from the brewery and drunk on a campingplatz outside Berlin. A clear orange amber coloured pour with a fading fine off white head. Aroma is sweet brown bread, rye, malty, brown sugars, little cola. Flavour is composed of semi sweet brown malts, spicy hop, little veg hop matter. Palate is semi sweet, chalky, moderate carbonation, ok.

Draft at the source. Clear deep amber color, tan head. Caramel aroma. Taste is lightly bitter and peppery caramel.
