Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm malzig würzig, minimale Bitterkeit.

[Thanks to McTapps]. Bottle. Coppery colour with an off-white head, good duration. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, light caramel and slightly flowery. Flavor is mild bittery with notes of caramel, grains, bready. The final is slightly sweet with bittery notes.

excellent appearance of amber colour and huge, long lasting, dense off-white head; aroma of bread, grassy hoppyness hints of honey and flowers;taste is the same; easy to drink, though less christmassy compared to a belgial christmas beer

0.5l bottle shared with Inbreak and abmorsten @ Amudsen. This is a clear deep golden one, some few unfiltered particles in the glass and a small light lacing and islandy off-white top. The nose is not extreme, not to wheat like either to be honest. More cardboard. The wet type. Lots of wet corn and definitely some sweet caramel here. It has a light thin oily mouthfeel and a just below average carbonation level. A slight sourness in the taste that's putting me a bit off but it fades. It's really lacking on bitterness but what it's lacking there it catches up with in the sweetness. Have to admit that I won't be remembering this beer to long for its flavor. 24.05.2013

Many thanks to Finn for a 500ml bottle, 5.4 % abv, of this one. Beautiful appearance with a decent, almost white coloured body fading slowly on top of a crystal clear, golden brown coloured body. Lace sheet to the glassware. Smooth aroma of caramel malts, herbs and grain. Malty flavour containing caramel, nuts, earth, herbs and almond. Dry malty finish. A warming, malt-accented beer that fits the season (Tromsø, 04.01.2013).

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko Muonio. Drukket hjemme 5 Des 12. Lys gyldenbrun med et høyt luftig skum som varer lenge. Litt lacing. Søt maltaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Søt mandelsmak med litt syrlighet etterhvert. Bra - men litt kjedelig. Hadde større forhåpninger til denne.
