Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a thin finger's worth of khaki foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, black coffee roastiness; habanero peppers and some light sweet wafery notes far down in there
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine spicy to sweet quality; finishes chocolatey, peppery with some light vanilla
Texture: medium bodied, surely a sipper; light smoothness but also some dryness and also some peppery heat too
Overall: if they added just a little bit more habanero peppers, I think this would have been overdone but to be honest, I think it was at the correct level; I just wish I would have gotten the cinnamon, but I believe I would have this again in hopes of finding the cinnamon next time.

A well laced, pillowy dark tan head on a near black body. The nose is a harbinger of some of the things to come - fresh roast coffee, spice, cocoa and a hint of peppers. A brilliant taste profile that grows and grows. Milk chocolate, well roasted coffee, molasses, slightly burnt toffee and the habanero peppers are the core elements. Vanilla, cinnamon, other spices, nuts and raisins add to the blend. The heat and roasted goodness grow and linger. The taste just keeps growing. A thick and rich body, slightly sticky, is absolutely appropriate. One of the best

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is strong cinnamon, chocolate, brownies, chocolate cake, caramel, vanilla, slightly chili, cocoa nibs, espresso. Flavour is rather sweet with a roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is full and rich. Great chocolate cake Stout!

Draught, taster. @Himmeriget, Copenhagen (Denmark). 08/05/2024 [#7.165 Global - #1.301 United States of America - #10 Evil Twin Brewing] Pours black with a beige lacing head. Aroma: cinnamon, liquorice, chilli and vanilla. Taste: raisins, vanilla, cinnamon and roasted malts. Some chilli aftertaste. Next one please!

Bottled (thanks Yozora!). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some chili, vanilla, mild nutty notes along with some dried fruits, raisins, dates and cocoa. Flavour is liquorice, nuts, alcohol, some vanilla, roast and some slight tobacco to it. Very nice balance to it. And age has done it well.
