Essential elements- Apple, cherry
Appearance - Deep pink and clear with a light, lacy head that quickly dissipates.
Aroma - Crisp, clean apple cider, round, ripe tart cherry.
Experience - Tart cherry sweetness up front with full, yet crisp fermented cider. Heavy apple skin compliments the cherry. Sweet, creamy honey rounds the flavor and balances the tartness of the cherry. Light carbonation lifts the flavor while the honey smooths the overall mouthfeel. Finishes crisp and clean.

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear pinkish hued peach orange one with a thin quickly sidesticking white top. Smells of cherries, rose water, orange zest, apple wine and grapefruit. It has a soft to average cider carbonation and a surprisingly thin mouthfeel. Cherries, grapefruit, blood oranges. The apples is dominating, but it has a honey sweetness in the background. Something that reminds me of flour in here as well. A different hybrid that reminds me a lot of... well, a soda/alco pop? 20.03.2013

I was stoked to find this on tap at Grand Trunk but then again I am in mead country. Looks like carbonated white zin which is unsettling. Beautiful nose of dark cherries and honey. Tastes of dark cherries, earth, honey, white grapes, apples, and floral. I touch too sweet and spritzer like on the palate to make me go bananas but nice change of pace

Pink with no head. Aroma is apple, cherry, honey, floral. Medium bodied with low but decent carbonation. Flavor is nice apple cider, cherry notes, honey, light floral notes. Very interesting. Very enjoyable. My last drink before transferring to Bahrain. Interesting choice.

Location: Draft at Cork City, 12/15/12
Aroma: This one has a super sweet nose of honey, apple, and some other fruits
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden-orange color with no head or lace at all
Flavor: The flavor is super sweet too, pretty much exactly what you'd expect from the nose
Palate: The body is light-medium, it is almost cloyingly sweet, and has a fairly soft carbonation
Overall Impression: There's some interesting components here, but overall, it a mead, and its too sweet. Still though, this is pretty good for the style, and even though it may not be something I'd want to drink a ton of, I respect what they were trying to do with this one.

Bottle. My very first mead. Pours clear pinkish yellow with no head. Aroma is white wine, cherry, apple, honey. Flavor is about the same, quite sweet with very nice apple and cherry notes and a sweet honey finish. I like this.

Draft! Yes indeed. Courtesy of Darrell, thank you sir! Color of rose wine. Aroma of dried apple skins and cranberries. Taste starts sweet, like grandmaโs apple pie, but it has a crisp edge. Iโm not a mead fan, but this is one of the best Iโve had.

Half liter bottle from Weinhaus in Asheville. Pours a clear pinkish golden color with a thin fizzy white head that quickly fades. Aroma of tart cherries, honey, herbal notes, apples. The taste is cherry pie filling, honey, apples, vanilla. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, eminently drinkable. Nice one.
