Pale cherry. The aroma is light cherry and hints of mead. Balanced and clean with light fruitiness. Very light carbonation. Sweet honeyish finish with light fruitiness. Not a ton of complexity, kind of an introductory mead. A little to populist for my tastes.

Sample at the Big Tap In after-party at Vintage Estates on 04/21/2012. This Mead pours a grapefruit pink color with a minimal head and decent legs. Aroma of cherries and honey. Light to medium body with a mildly tart cherry and apple character. Some sweet honey and molasses in the background. The finish is fruity with a cherry aftertaste. Solid Mead all around.

I got to try this last night at the homebrew club meeting, thanks for the opportunity Joel! Pours a clear light pink color with a smattering of white on top that dissipates almost immediately. Smells of tart and sweet cherry juice with a hint of apple. I know this is a mead but I have trouble finding the honey underneath the tart cherries. Taste is fairly sweet up front, hits with some apple and tart cherry midway then finishes fairly dry with a lingering cherry sweetness. Medium to light body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet tart mouthfeel. This is one damn tasty beverage! I find it drinks more like a cider than a mead though.

Bottle. Pours a clear reddish amber with a small white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of tart cherries with a hint of backing honey. Flavor starts with honey but is balanced by a nice cherry tart note. Quite drinkable.

Bottle in Detroit. Crystal clear, light pinkish appearance with no head. Sweet honey, mild apple, light cherry aroma. Slightly syrupy mouth feel. Somewhat spicy, cherry pie-like, rich honey flavor with a fairly tart cherry finish. Fuck this is good.
