Known to fans simply as C-O-S, our Coffee Oatmeal Stout delivers a big coffee taste followed by a wallop of Willamette hops. Complex and flavorful, yet amazingly sessionable. As tasty with a meal as it is for dessert.

Tap. Pours clear black, medium tan head, creamy, great lacing. Aroma is espresso, tobacco, dark roasted malts. Flavor is the same, light sweet, light bitter increasing to far finish. Medium body, creamy, quite nice.

Coffee and grass nose with tart apple overtones. Mahogany, medium tan head, decent lacing. Bark, thistle, coffee, sourwood, and moss flavor. Fizzy mouthfeel, astringent, alcohol more noticeable upon warming. Very earthy and robust. Full of rustic flavor and complexity.

Growler received in trade from GPHarris thanks for the opportunity. Pours a dark brown bordering on black with a thinnish off white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of freshly roasted coffee, milk chocolate, roasted grains and a earthy bitterness. Taste is roasty chocolaty smooth with lots of coffee. Earthy bitterness mixed with a roasted grain bitterness and a drying coffee component round out the finish. Smooth creamy bordering on grainy mouthfeel, light level of carbonation, medium body. This is a great easy drinking coffee stout. The coffee is not to harsh and the oats round out the drying affects of it quite nicely. Great brew. I lost about an 1/8 of the growler and a good bit of the carbonation in transit, but the beer itself is still really good. Maybe one day I will try it at the source.

growler at Free the Hops meeting, Huntsville, AL pours black, beige/mocha head. aroma and taste, chocolate malts, oat for a nice thick palate. Hops give this brew a nice floral and bitter chocolate mouthfeel without hampering the stout quality. Light coffee in the finish.
