Ayinger Lager Hell is the typical every day drink in Bavaria. Together with wheat beer this Muenchener Hell style is the most famous beer style in the Bavarian south.

As people in Bavaria are very demanding as far as their daily drink is concerned the brewers are very aware of the necessity to brew a yellow-golden beer with a light malt taste. It is crisp, smooth and mellow. A perfectly balanced taste and aroma.

Ayinger Lager Hell is often used for cooking and it can be paired with many typical Bavarian dishes like for example beef, pork and cold meat with radish and Brez’n.

0,5 flaske fra VP Bergen Storsenter, hos Håkon: helt klar gylden med fint gardinskum som varer lenge. Urter, brød og saftig citrus i en slank men velsmakende maltkropp. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen.

Nagy, tömör, örökké tartó, hófehér hab, gyönyörű, arany szín. Édeskés, malátás, virágos illat. Enyhén édeskés, malátás, mézes, virágos ízek. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, alig keserű. Rettentően jó ivósör, bármennyit meg tudnék inni belőle.

Smell of bread, faint fruit. Hazy golden colour, tiny white head. Aroma of grass, malt, some fruit. Lightly sweet. Flat carbon.

Helle, fast glasklare Farbe. Schaumentwicklung- und -haltbarkeit OK, Konsistenz schön cremig. Früchte und Blumen in der Nase. Davon kommt auch einiges beim Trinken durch. Außerdem helles Getreide, etwas Hefe und ein winziger Hauch Sekt. Für ein Bier mit nur 4,9 % Alkohol, schmecke ich diesen relativ stark raus - aber nicht unangenehm. Konsistenz recht satt und voll, mit reichlich Kohlensäure, trotzdem noch weich. Fazit: Das Bier hat geschmacklich nen ganz interessanten Zwist. Ein gutes bayerisches Helles.

From the Spar shop, Feldkirch Oebb train station, august 2024, best before 11/24, tasting this bottle yesterday, coming from the Lavaux with my son. A classical present brewed following the Bavarian rules, tasty wheat beer, fruity, smooth, banana, bitter.
