Bottle, .5 liter. Wow, one of my favorite doppel bocks. Sweet and malty w/some nuts, all well balanced and working in harmony.

В аромате много патоки, ощущаются легкие пряные нотки, вроде корицы, также есть карамельный солод. Цвет свтло янтарный, пенка маленькая, с средне крупными пузырями. Вкус питкий несмотря на 8 градусов, и к тому же не сильно пьянит, хотя совсем легкие нотки алкоголя есть. Много сладких но не резких ноток, вроде меда и карамеля. Также стойкое присутствие ноток от виски. Вообще странно но местами оно похоже на другой стиль а именно барливайн, возможно из за большого количества солода. При глотке небольшая хмелевая составляющая. Затем снова солод и пряности с едва различимой карамелью. В целом не типичный доппельбок, но весьма не дурный своим уровнем.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Sweet brown malt aroma with lots of caramel, toast, some dried fruit including plum and raisins, toffee. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Sweet, bit heavy, solid Doppel.

500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Amber/brown and cloudy with a small beige head. Caramel, stone fruit, Biscoff in the light aroma. Dates and figs with notes of toffee in the moderately sweet taste, with an underpinning of grassy hop. A nite seam of bitterness in the finish. Full body, medium carbonation. A decent Doppelbock but not my favourite of the style.

0,33l on tap @ Graal. Pours hazy brown with a low creamy off-white head. Aroma is toasty nutty malts. Flavor is toasted nutty malts, molasses, hops. Very nice indeed.

Klare rötlich bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Prägnant malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig mit Trockenfrüchten und reifer Pflaume, etwas getreidig. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Tight off white head on an unclear copper coloured body. Malt, brown sugar & toffee aroma. Full bodied, syrupy, smooth & cloying. Syrup, toffee, malt & peppery tastes with a bitter boozy finish. Very nice.
