0,1l from Craft Bier Fest Wien. Cooper/ greenish colour, small white head. Smells bit old hoppy, earthy, spices, peppery, lights veggies. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, spices, citric, spices, peppery, grassy, bit herbal, light veggies. Finishes lightly bitter with notes of earth, spices and peppery notes. Decent one, bit on the oldish side. 6, 4, 6, 3, 11

"Superfreunde Super Ale", Flasche (33 cl) von Getränkefeinkost Berlin. - Dunkleres Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase schöner IPA-Hopfen: dezente tropische Frucht, Pampelmuse, Nadelwald, Earl-Grey-Tee (Bergamotte). - Antrunk kräftig karamelmalzig und gut pampelmusig-hopfenherb mit Anklängen an Earl Grey. Für ein IPA etwas blaß und wäßrig. Im Abgang kräftig zitrusfruchtige, leicht erdige und etwas ruppige Herbe. Leicht seifiger Nachgeschmack. - Unrundes IPA mit einem für seine Hopfendosis zu schwachen Malzkörper.

06-05-17 // tap at Wir Komplizen, Frankfurt. ALmost clear, amber coloured IPA, small white head. Light hoppy nose. Taste is light sweet malty, mild fruity hoppy. Very light IPA, but quite ok.

Bottle from Craft Beer Store, Hamburg. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 120617

Bottle: Golden to deep golden, hazy, loose but stable off-white head, sweet malt, cough syrup and dry herbal-piney hops in the nose; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; lingering dry and tart bitter finish with a hardly detectable malty counterweight. Good, not great...

Fruity nose. Clear pale to medium amber colour, good rocky beige head, dissipates slowly, good lacing; aroma toasted malts, caramel, light citrus, bergamot, lemon, peach, bit pine. Taste mild sweet and bitter, malty, fruity with light citrus and peach. Mild sweetbitter aftertaste, light spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, a nice little pale ale, quaffable.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep amber colour with a mid-sized and firm tanned foamy head. Citric hoppy aroma with notes of bergamot, delicately tropical accents and an earthy touch, backed by mildly cara-malt. Slightly bitter and delicately tart flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Delicately bready malty base with traces of caramel, accompanied by citric and slightly earthy hops; moderately dry, slightly bitter hoppy finish with earthy and mildly fruity notes. Likeable but not really harmonic. 25.IV.17
