Das SUPERFREUNDE Super Ale ist unfiltriert, unpasteurisiert und handwerklich gebraut. In der Nase begrüßen einen blumige Noten und die Düfte wohlgereifter Früchte wie Apfel, Orange und Pflaume, doch auch die ersten Vanillearomen stellen sich netterweise vor. Geschmacklich sorgen gleich fünf Aromahopfen für reichlich Furore und schaffen dabei locker den Spagat zwischen Süße und Würze, wobei das Super Ale äußerst cremig daherkommt und eine angenehme Bittersweetness lange am Gaumen bleibt. Supergut zu trinken.

Shared with Travlr! Sampled draft @ Craft & Draft. Clear orange, little off-white head. Nose is mellow grainy, dark malts, low pine & hay qualities but not very expressive. Nose is sweet cheese, sugar, hay, candy, low pine, sweet cheese aspects of these are odd, something odd happened to the hops, I dug a bit so there is that. Oily, cheesy & candy body. Not entirely what it should be but I didn’t mind it, decent brew, nothing crazy, Okay.

330ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Herbal; floral hoppy aroma, nuttily malty background, hints of mint and woodruff. Taste is dry, herbal hoppy, nuttily malty background, hints of woodruff and mint. Super-fluous.

0.33 l bottle at ’Gollem’ (Overtoom), best before October 2016. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, fruity and a little resiny aroma of mango, melon and some pine. Rather sweet, fruity and slightly resiny taste of mango, melon and some pine, followed by a short, moderately resiny-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, only too sweet.

Draft at ’Cause Beer Loves Food, Amsterdam. Clear orange with an off white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, green hops and light malt. Flavour is above light sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Superfreunde Super Ale ].Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, orange - citrus, light pine, light to moderate tobacco. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, sweet hops, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt, dry tobacco - wood, medium dry, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160529]

Eher malziger als hopfiger Antrunk. Leicht hefig, der Hopfen bleibt moderat, zwar frisch aber dennoch deutlich vom Malz beeinflusst. Karamellig, minimal bitter. Kurzer, etwas getreidiger Nachhall ohne Tiefgang. 10/8/8/8/7/8
