[9/22/16] Draught at Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Hazy golden. Bad buttery diacetyl aroma, with faint hops. Sweetish flavor with a bit of butter, and bitterish hops. Medium-bodied.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, fluffy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney and slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of orange, orange zest. Taste is dry and slightly bitter hoppy, piney and minimally citrusy, zesty hints of orange. OK.

Light hazy medium golden colour, tall rocky white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malts, orange, tangerine, light pine, wet hay, herbs. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity. Medium-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, herbal and grain notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, quite nice actually. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ciprianus on 07 Sep 2016 at 10:55 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 8. 330 ml bottle. Thanks to my EU Secret Summer Santa MonsterMagnet!
Amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, grass, stone fruits, pineapple, some passion fruit, biscuit, some herbs.
Tastes of grapefruit, grass, herbs, biscuit, some tropical fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, zesty, herbal, grassy, a bit yeasty.
Good. Nice fruity nose, while the taste is bitter-hoppy, too grassy-herbal for me, not fully balanced in my opinion, with a quite harsh finish. Not a bad beer, but not my preferred style of an IPA.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color with a slight orange haze. Medium to full body white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts and hops, but the hops are a tiny bit unfresh. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, fortunately the flavor is good. Decent body, firm carbonation. Decent.

Bottle shared at home. Slight hazy golden with off white head. Grapefruit, lots of bitter herbs and grass, there’s some light yeast, caramel and fresh cut wood. Medium bitter and almost medium sweet. Medium bodied with slightly oily feel.

0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, bottled in April 2016. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity and a little resiny aroma of orange, tangerine, some apricot and hints of pine. Very sweet, fruity and a little resiny taste of orange, tangerine, some apricot and hints of pine, followed by a short, dlightly bitter, a little resiny finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Easily drinkable and quite tasty, but too sweet for me.
