Bottle (swing top) split at L6, thanks to Fergus, 28/11/18. Lightly hazed amber copper with little in the way of a head. Nose is dusty fruits, biscuit, spice, grains, brown bread. Taste comprises grass, toasted grains, brown sugar, stale fruit loaf. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle shared at Columbus tasting 28/11/2018. A flat burnt orange amber coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is sweet burnt honey, light wood. Flavour is composed of woody honey, stale grains, light oxidised, grass. Palates is stale, nutty grains, low carboantion. . Little stale.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Fergus. Pours clear amber with a thin foamy topping. Sweet and malty, litly oxidized, some caramel, paper. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, more paper, caramel. Very basic.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus. Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth finish, modest fine carbonation. Caramel malts, a little aged tasting. Ripe fruits, over ripe. Smooth finish. Pretty ripe.

Bottle from Getränke Hoffmann, Potsdam. 4.4 % ABV. Light hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, light grainy and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 120717

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavior. Short light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bügelverschlußflasche (50 cl) aus einem Geschäft in Werder (Havel). - Kupferrot, schwach trüb; schöner beigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase etwas zu deutlich säuerlich mit Bierwürze, Karamel und leicht krautigem, schwach muffigem Hopfen. - Antrunk brotig-karamelmalzsüß und schwach plastikartig-künstlich mit leichten Dunkelmalznoten und zart säuerlichen Anklängen. Mild rezent, eher wäßrig. Im Hintergrund arg blasse, schwach holzige Herbe - der auf dem Etikett angepriesene Bio-Naturdoldenhopfen wurde wohl mit der Pinzette dosiert. - Nicht direkt unsympathisch, sogar süffig, aber aromatisch unbefriedigend. Vielleicht hätte ich es nicht direkt nach einem Krug-Bräu Lager verkosten sollen - der direkte Vergleich mit einem echt fränkischen Lagerbier enthüllt schonungslos alle Schwächen des Imitats.
