On tap at naïv, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has robust campfire smoke and muffled bready malt. Flavour is dry and muffled, with lots of campfire smoke, bready malt, and a dry finish. Nice smokiness but the base malts aren’t so enticing. Okay.

From bottle at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Poured at room temperature, not good! Rauchbier aroma of smoked malt, smoked ham, and sweetish malts. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Decent Rauch.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Vienna. Amber copper color with white head. Aroma of malt, smoke, malt. Taste is malty, fruity with nice portion of smoke. Very good.

Aroma is sweet umami ham quite some honey and melasses. Taste is juicy sweet malt with a little umami ham. Soothing. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish, chestnut colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting, slightly lacing, off-white head. Smoky aroma, hints of smoked eel, a waxy hoppy touch. Taste is smoky, slightly waxy hoppy, residual malty sweetness, a touch of wood, honey, smoked eel. OK.
