We've used lashings of Loral, a modern American hop, to give Galleon its unique character. There's bucket-loads of floral, citrus and delicious dark-fruit flavour in this crisp, refreshing lager. Dry-hopped for extra punch.

Bottle, as part of the Fullers and Friends packs. Waitrose. Clear, bright gold. Not much more than a film of white head. Nose has sweet malts. Some corn. Light, peachy hop. Not a deal else, really. Taste has a decent balance of sweet and dry, with some light bitterness at the back. Clean mouthfeel. Light bitter finish. I could happily do multiples of this.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours lightly hazed pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is light malts, floral, a little hay. The taste is light, crisp, floral, lemon zest. Medium body, fine carb, dryish finish.

Bottle from Waitrose and drunk at home. Clear pure paleish gold thin white head. Grapefruit hop aroma. So I guess an India Style Lager. A little yeast on aroma. Very light in the malts. A touch of perfume. OK, but not very full in the mouth. Some bitterness on the finish. Bit too perfumed for me. Bit too bitter and light in malt.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - pale yellow with a thin lacy head. Nose - light stone fruit and meadow flowers. Taste - apricot and dry metallic lager thing at the back. Palate - creamy texture and light bodied. Balanced finish. Overall - good stuff, grew on me!

Bottle from Waitrose, Comely Bank shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of floral and tropical fruit and nice lager base malt. Taste has light corn, but mostly it's about the hops.

Bottle picked up at Waitrose Oxford Street. It pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is quite fresh, candied lemon, florals, hay, cereal and a touch of spice. The taste is crisp, dry, grassy, straw, floral, soda water & lemon, zesty, cereal and peppery spice with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine, pricky carbonation. A pretty OK lager bier. Taste doesn't quite live up to the aroma perhaps. After a while tastes a bit too sweet.
