Als obergärige und naturtrübe Weizenbierspezialität von goldener Farbe ist die helle Gose der Klassiker unter unseren Bieren. Das milde Bier mit einer dezenten Hopfennote (Hallertauer Perle und Saphir) lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Wie schon 1520 überzeugt die helle Gose durch die traditionelle Zugabe von Salz und Koriander und einen einmaligen Geschmack, der auch von den drei Malzen (Pilsener-, Weizen- und Münchener-Malz) bestimmt wird. Noch mehr süffige Auszeit gibt es in der Flasche. Als Flaschenbier ist die Gose acht Wochen haltbar.

50 cL bottle, trade with kappldav123. Pours slight cloudy with a diminished white head. Bitter and light grassy/citrusy hops aroma. Mild to vague milky note to a rather hoppy brew, quite delicate and crisp. Smooth wheat malty finish going into a nive crispness. Light citric finish.

(Bottled, BB 07/2008). Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! One of few Göses around. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Leather, fruity lemons, orange in the aroma. Citrusy, a bit salty, coriander, fruits, banana in the flavor. Leather in the aftertaste.

Bottled. HAzy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, sour and acidic wood, mild fruityness. Flavour is much the same. Also a bit salty notes in the finish. 5 3 5 3 10

Getreidig-erdnussartigr Antrunk mit hintergründiger Säuerlichkeit. Frisch, mittelherb. Im späten Mittelteil ebben die Aromen ab, das Bier wird deutlich milder, einige Aromen fallen gar weg. Hier wirkt das Bier deutlich weniger frisch und tendiert in eine muffige Richtung. Der Koriander ist hierbei, wie auch schon im Antrunk, erkennbar. The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, nice head. Tastes mild, only modest sourish. Remarkable salty. The finish is dry and wheaty. I miss any interesting thing. I like the Leipziger Gose more.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is yellow. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, fruits and quite acidic. Slightly stale taste.

Bottle courtesy of Hansen. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Very acetic and hoppy aroma, grassy and citrus notes. Very acetic almost astringent flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Strange but nice.

Big white head rises out of the glass in a volcano-lke cone which shrinks slowly into the faintly hazy pale yellow body. Light lemony-wheaty aroma with herbal notes and a thin acidic aspect. Mild and harmonic. Dry acidic grassy herbal spicy taste of wheat and flour with lemony notes. Light, harmonic, and balanced. Mid-bodied. Dry tart chalky aftertaste. The immediate impression is good, but the aftertaste a bit disappointing. Interesting, drinkable, and good, but could be more assertive. (0.3l draft at Hotel Gosequell, Goslar.)

Draught at a restaurant next to the brewery. Weak aroma, slightly citric. Hazy dark yellow colour. Stable, plasticky white head. The flavour is quite fruity, malty with some teaish notes. Low carbonation, but good. Also ends on a malty note. Goes well with my blueberry/whipped cream schnitzel.
