Creamy off white head stayed on translucent copper coloured still body. Malt, spices & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, a slight tickle on the front followed by a creamy back & clean aft. Heavy malt, demerara, Christmas spices, berry, red berry & caramel tastes with lightly hopped finish.

Had low expectations. Slightly surprised that it was better than the Warsteiner pilsner

Tap at james hetfeeld's, paris. Clear to cloudy amber small offwhite head. Aroma is caramelly, sweet malty, flavor is dark caramel, malts, faint flowery note. Tastes a bit like a weizenbock win not much wheat.

Clear brown colour with lasting stable head. Aroma and flavour have light caramel sweetness. Decent body and reasonably flavoursome. Similar profile to many 'Speciale Belge' beers.
