Bottle online from Beersofeurope. Pours a clear golden colour with a large throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, bread and honey. Taste has the same notes as the aroma, Malty with added hints of butterscotch, toasty bread and peppery spice. Medium to full body, soft carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Quite a nice Marzen and deserves a higher rating in my opinion.

Malzige Noten dominieren. Ein Hauch von Nelke. Mild. Dazu passt auch die eher geringe Carbonisierung. Nicht schlecht.

500ml flip-top bottle from Beers of Europe: BB 5th Jul 2021. Drank at home on 27th Dec 2020. Clear golden pour, snow white head. Malty/grainy nose and taste, lively 'pop' on opening and it's well carbonated, like a good lager should be. Nothing to make it Christmassy at all though, no spices or herbal notes, just a fairly sweet lager.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Zolling, Sunday 26th January 2020 listening to Sebadoh - Act Surprised and cooking a Parsee Dal to go with the homemade Chicken Jalfrezi and Chapattis (they're defrosting). Pours dark gold edging towards amber, it's clear with a white head. Light fruity, a touch malty,a little spice, straightforward, fine.

Tap. Blonde beer. Soft grassy aroma. Slightly hoppy, grassy flavor with hints of banana and orange. Malty. Slightly buttery bitter aftertaste. Mwah... Re-rate in feb 2010: swing top bottle. Golden color. Bready aroma with hints of flowers. Malty bready flowery soft hopbitter flavor. The emphasis is on malt. Just a hint of sewer.
