Bottle, 5.1%. Slow gusher. Mild smoke aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Big, fairly stable, almost white head. The flavour is watery and slightly citric, but also has a decent, nicely fat smokiness. Highly carbonated. Probably infected, but tastes all right.

Bottle. Gusher. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with fruity and estery notes and mild touches of smoke and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish touches of yeast and sourish (off?) hints. Smoky and estery aftertaste. Reasonable but infected.

Bottle from Craft Beer Store, Hamburg. Hazy golden with an off-white head- Aroma is sweet, malty and smoked. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 040617

Cloudy amber, offwhite head. Aroma has smoke and caramel. Flavour is smoky, fruity with herbal bitterness. A bit thin, perhaps.

33cl bottle. Pours almost clear amber with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild smoked sweet malt, caramel. Taste of smoked malt, some bacon, sweet caramelish malt, nice!

Big thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Smokey aroma. Starts malty, dry, roasted notes. Not as smokey as exspected. Some hints of wood, fruity, earthy. Finish mild. Exspected more smokey notes, but still okay.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Smoky aroma, notes of oak ashes, hints of smoked eel, underlying, slightly disguised citrusy hoppiness with hints of lemon, lemon drop, a minimally waxy touch. Taste is citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon drop, inserted mild smokiness. Reminds a bit of Fräulein Brauer’s "Strohfeuer" concerning the smoke/citrus-combination, which is executed here in a mode leading to a more harmonious result, but remains questionable in general.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish. Bitter and smooth fruity. Dry, smoked and herbal. Bitter and dry finish.

On tap at Fisch & Feines 2016, Bremen. Dark golden small head. Grain and low smoke on the nose. Taste is thin malty with low smoke, some fruity elements. Expected way more smoke but the old chancellor, Mr. Helmut Schmidt, smoked only menthol cigarettes. No real smoked but okay for non smoking rater.
