LCRBM2: the self-bottled swing top bottle from RPattinson, more than 5 years old, opens with a loud bang and the precious brew gushes out of the bottle. Soft lemon aroma. Mellow and soft lemon flavor. Thinnish, and just a bit salty. This delicious brew ages very well. Without any thought a great beer.

Appearance: Light orange golden, hazy. Quite hazy. Small head. Aroma: Herbs, light fruits, some saltiness, hint of tanginess. Taste: Light fruits, lemon and sweet, some saltiness. Slight sourness, but luckily for me not too much. Bought: Die Bierothek (Stuttgart), 330 ml, €2.74 Info: 31/5-2019, BB: 27/2-2020

Bottle. Color: Sligjtly hazy orange golden, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Malt, ligh sour, some salt. Taste: Malty, moderate sweet, ight sour and salty, subtle hints of yellow fruit, peach. Mineral water. Under medium body, below average carbonation. No explosion of flavours, not that special but (just) a good example of the original Leipziger Gose. I quite like it.
