Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, nuts, dark chocolate. Flavour is roasty and a bit sweet. Somewhat thin body, a little watery. Otherwise a good Schwarzbier.

On tap at Bayerischer Bahnhof Leipzig. Blackish coloured, medium sized beige head, roasty and light chocolate nose. Light roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, dark bread and bit herbal with bitter roasty finish.

Heizer - Bayerischer Bahnhof Schwarzbier, vom Faß im Biergarten des Bayerischen Bahnhofs. - Dunkles Schwarzbraun, undurchsichtig. - Röstmalzbetonte Nase. - Antrunk kernig röstmalzig mit Kaffee und schwarzer Brotkruste, abgerundet mit federleichter Frucht. Kaum süß. Mild rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang gut mokkabitter und nur dezent dezent hopfenherb. - Intensiv, etwas einseitig röstmalziges, dennoch weiches Schwarzbier, nicht so dünn wie die meisten. On tap at the brewery. Dark black, moderate head. Roasted nose. Low carb, moderately slim body with a light roasted character like a slim porter. Good bitterness au the end with some coffee aftertaste. Not too complex but very sessionable as a result, I could easily drink a half liter.

Very dark brown with thin head. Nice roasty aroma. A touch of roasted malt bitterness in the taste too.
11-08-21 // 300ml on tap. Lovely Schwarzbier. Great style example. Clean lager. With roasted dark malts and quite a good amount of coffee notes.

Flasche beim Brauer bestellt. Dunkles Braun, fast schon schwarz. Finger dicker beiger Schaum. Geruch: kalter Kaffee, bittere Schokolade, etwas Karamell, ein wenig Haselnuss. Aroma: moderate Süße, etwas metallisch. Kalter Kaffee, Haselnuss Karamell. Leicht bitter im Gaumen. Ansatzweise ölig.

Darkest brown. Aroma is malty melasses with dark honey and a little espresso. Taste is dark melasses with good espresso and coffee filter. Rich body. Still drinkable and not too heavy. Very nice.
