BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear golden, white head with good lacing. Both the aroma and the taste have simple pale malts, traces of grassy and lemony hops. Light bitter and dry finish. Might be simplistic, but that’s a well done helles.

Bottle. Clear golden with a white head. Clear yellow-golden with a white head. Aroma of bready malt, grains, hay, a bit of citrus and a herbal hint. Sweetish flavor with graininess, malt, bread, and a light herbal hoppy bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied. Slightly too sweet, but OK.

Dirck the Norseman, Brooklyn tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is bready malt, sugar, and a hint of hops. Taste is pretty sweet. It is rather malty. Low hoppiness. Still, it is pretty smooth and easy to drink. I would have preferred that the beer be less sweet though.
