Clear pale golden colour, good foamy white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing. Aroma is wheat, light citrus, yeast, bubblegum, candy sugar, soapy. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, average duration, wheat, spicy, mineral notes. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation, aftertaste dry and sligthly acidic, spicy and mineral notes, mediocre wheat ale.

Bottle from El Corte Ingles, Lisboa. It pours cloudy golden with a decent white head. The nose is sweet, doughy, ripe banana, fruit salad, candy, pink marshmallows and big bubblegum character. The taste is smooth, lightly bitter, doughy, wheat, orange rind, banana, hint of acidity, bubblegum, cracker and some clove with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A pretty reasonable Hefeweizen.

Bottle, 750ml. Pours cloudy dirty straw with a medium white head that mostly dissipates leaving nice residual and lacing. Aroma is pretty typical hef, banana, clove, wheat. Flavor is light sweet and very light bitter, clove, banana, wheat dominate, some bubblegum. Medium body, medium carb. This is a pretty straightforward German Hefe, not sure whats driving the low ratings here. Interesting, I just noticed the other reviews; I do not get anything tart from my bottle.

Review following the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L08-2019 (BBF 03-2020). AROMA: mild phenolics with some faint citric and sulphury notes. some yeast aroma with a faint wheat and estery background. faint cereal husk. APPEARANCE: straw gold color and slight hazy. moderate-low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial wheaty flavour, followed by faint citric touches. medium-low bitterness with a semi-sweet finish. bland flavour. PALATE: medium-low to low body with low carbonation. low wheat creaminess. OVERALL: a weiss lacking a lot of the classic characteristics.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Cerveja Artesanal do Minho Weiss ].Hazy - murky matt medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, light to light moderate hoppy, citrus, tart citrus, moderate yeasty, fruity, spicy. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, wheat, fruity, spicy, bubble gum, minerals. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130913]

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy citrus flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy citrus finish.

As Cerveja Artesanal do Minho Weiss. Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Cloudy, pale golden colour with a minimal white head. Sweet aroma with vanilla, fruits, spices and wheat malts. Some tartness. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a lively, prickly carbonation. Finishes rather dry and bitter for a Hefeweizen. Not true to style, which in this case is so-so.

75 cL bottle as Cerveja Artesanal do Minho Weiss . Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is estery and light herbal. Bitter, dry estery and herbal. Rather dry and somewhat bitter finish.
