Dark brown with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt and some dried fruit senses. Light bitter with a malt, caramel and bread sense.

Can, as Northie. Dark brown, beige head. Aroma is earthy with chocolate, hazelnuts, bread, spices. And so it tastes. It's light bodied with just enough malty flavours to keep you interested - nuts, bread, mocha - and just enough of a nip of bitterness to make a finish. I don't love it but it's impressive in that it's good within the guardrails.

As Northie Brown Ale. Dark brown to auburn, beige head. Toffee aroma. Chocolate. Bitter sweet with hints of toast and chocolates. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation. Good.

Bière achetée avec une autre étiquette au inside rock café à Bergen. Sympa, légère, très bien dans le registre de la brune standard. Assez goûtue pour une bière de ce degré "faible" d'alcool, et nez bien rôti.

Brown to dark brown colored, medium beige frothy head, not too lasting. Aroma is of malt, toast, light caramel, nuttty notes, bit bread and light chocolate, Taste follows the nose with a bit more chocolate and a choco-nutty finish, sweetish finish, light+ bitterness, lasting aftertaste. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, oily to creamy. Pretty good brown.
