Bottle at a tasting. Thin body, moderate carbonation. Slightly syrupy, slightly corny, but overall rather easy drinking. Light grassy hops character, but sits below the corn. Average.

Trotz gewaltigen 6,1 % Alk. geschmacklich eher ein Leichtgewicht. Leicht hopfig, leicht fruchtig, leicht floral und leicht getreidig. Eine seltsame süßliche Note fällt auf. Schmeckt etwas abgekocht.

# 588; 12/2016. Sladší a sladovější pivo s lehkou kořenitostí. Nepříjemně vystupují mladinové tóny a zatuchlost (starý hadr). Nedobré.

Bottle from the Offie, Leicester. Golden blond, clear with a small wisp of white head. Malty and slightly medicinal aroma with something slightly reminiscent of tangerine peel. Sweet taste with malt and fruit notes, with some astringent bitterness in the finish. Medium carbonation. Decent if a bit dull.

Keg at Six Degrees North. It pours clear pale gold with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, apple, pear, mom, candied fruits, toasty grain and candy. The taste is crisp, dry, grassy, estery fruits, powdery, icing sugar, earth, grainy, bit of green banana, menthol, some rawness and alcohol with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. A bit all over the place. Sweet and harsh. Underwhelming.
