Fläschla: Pale golden, hazy, small but lacy white head, robust sweet-bitter tropical-fruity to piney nose, pale malt underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, not soft; lingering bitter-sweet finish of tart and piney hops and clean sweet pale malt, warming ALK in the aftertaste. Good, but should be better rounded...

0.33 l bottle from 'Brewcomer', best before March 2020. Almost clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and a little resiny aroma of orange blossom, honey, apricot jam, a touch of pine and traces of grains. Quite sweet, malty, gently bitter, moderately fruity, slightly floral and a little resiny taste of orange blossom, honey, apricot jam, pine and caramel, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly resiny and moderately boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy, sugar-loaded sipper, lacks some hoppy freshness to be really enjoyable, nevertheless a decent drink.

Alkoholischer, hell malziger und süßlich hopfiger Beginn. Steigende Süße, erkennbar alkoholisch bleibend, würzig, feine Karbonisierung. Mittellanger, zunehmend herber Abgang. 10/9/9/10/12/9
